Select your pilot, then move the cursor to Jaguar. Push left 5 times so that the cursor returns to Jaguar. Push down to get to Katana, then push left 5 times once again. Then, start pushing down as fast as you can for about 5-10 seconds, move over to Flail, and press Shift.
(Note:This works in both 1-player and 2-player mode)

Change Robot Colors in 1-player or 2-player Mode

Select a pilot, and when you reach the robot selection screen, press 1, 2, or 3 (on the numbers under the function keys, not the number pad) to change the color of different parts of the robot. In 2-player mode, 1, 2, and 3 change the color of player 1's robot, and 4, 5, and 6 change player 2's.
