While in the normal Chao Garden with either Sonic or Shadow, walk up to the left corner where the grass becomes rock (the one with the pond and waterfall), and start homing attacking that corner repeatedly. You will eventually leave the Chao Garden, and Sonic/Shadow will be flying above the water in the falling pose with a copy of him above him. You can now him him around, and even leave the entire Chao Garden. When you leave the area, everything will turn black and purple. To return to normal, either exit, or move back against the Chao Garden.

In the Security Hall stage you play as Rouge The Bat and are given 5 minutes to complete it. This can be quite difficult. If you have enough lives you can do this trick. If you cannot seem to find the Emeralds, intentionally die. You will keep the existing Emeralds that you have collected. You will begin at the start of the level and the Emeralds will move to different places. This is the fastest method for completing the stage if you are having trouble.

Sonic: Go to Final Rush. At the 6th check point, you will land on a platform with two rails, both leading forward. (If you were fast, it will take about 3 minutes to get here.) One is purple, the other, orange. Take the ORANGE one and hold the [B] button for the entirety of the grind. Done correctly, this should toss you onto a platform with a rocket on it. Take the rocket, and you will receive your new toy!
Tails: it's in Hidden Base, below the SECOND point marker. When it's in sight, instead of jumping towards it, turn around and go backwards about 50 or 100 'feet', then walk left until you come across a mural. Drop down from here (hover, if you prefer.) You will find yourself on a walkway with iron crates blocking a door. You should know what to do there.
Knuckles: get the Shovel Claws from Pumpkin Hill, then go back to Wild Canyon. Glide into the wind, and turn left, towards the Lonely Statue Area. Climb above the Lonely Statue and dig into the center of the painting. Knuckles will find a secret passage into a hidden room with the powerup.
Shadow: it's in Final Chase. Run to the top of every vertical drum. At the top of one, you will see another verical drum with an electric net around the center. Shadow must jump to that drum ABOVE the electric net to net his prize.
Dr. Eggman: His melody can be learned by hovering LEFT of the first rotating platform in Sand Ocean. Obviously, he'll need to have the Jet Engine to be able to reach it!
Rouge: She needs the Pick Nails to get her Mystic Melody. Take them to Dry Lagoon. Find a painting on the wall nearest the turtle being bullied by GUN Hunters. Dig in!

Pumpkin Head for Chao

Find one of the Skeleton Dogs; the easiest place to do so is the Pumpkin Hill stage with Knuckles, and combine it with your Chao. With either Knuckles or Rouge, start digging around in the Chao Garden. Eventually a pumpkin will appear. If you give it to the Chao mixed with the Skeleton Dog it will put it on its head. If you want to take it off, either throw or hit your Chao.

Kart Racing Game

In order to play the actual last and final stage of this game, then finish both Hero and Dark side story games. Once this is done, go into story mode and a ''Last Stage?'' menu selection should appear between the Hero and the Dark Side selections

Go to Pumpkin Hill as Knuckles(duh) and fly to where you got the Shovel Claws. Dig inside the circle and you will get a life. Take the left rocket up to Church Mountain and fly to the top. Get the skeleton dog that is going around in a circle and restart. Get the life and the dog again. Repeat this 10 times. In Chao Garden give the dogs to a chao. It will raise all stats except for stamina and erase animal atributes. Give a chao too much dogs and you will be able to see the chao's ribs *Note*:Watch out for the ghosts on Church Mountain!

To get a Chaos Chao you must first have your chao reincarnate twice. Then in its third life while its a child give it one of every 21 kinds of animals. Only one of the same animal and dont give it drives then have the alignment to what you want it to be. For a Hero Chaos Chao make its alignment hero for Nuetral Chaos Chao make its alignment Nuetral. For a Dark Chaos Chao make its alignment dark. Then wait for you chao to evolve and a Chaos chao will come out of the Caccoon

To raise a chao that is more skilled in either running, swimming, flying, or strength, you must feed the chao a certain type of chaos drive while a chao is still a child. For a fast running chao, feed it more green chaos drives than any other color of chaos drive. For a fast swimming chao, feed it more yellow chaos drives than any other color of chaos drive. For a fast flying chao, feed it more purple chaos drives than any other color of chaos drive. And for a stronger chao, feed it more red chaos drives than any other color of drive. But remember! Your chao must be a child! You can tell if you've done it right, if your chao starts to grow odd extentions on the back of its head.

This only works in multiplayer. The first step is to die. Then, before you are re-spawned, Hold the B-button. If you continue to hold it, you will become invincible and kill any other player you touch.
This trick only works as long as you hold the B button down. If you release it, you will lose this glitch and have to die again to regain it.

In order to do this you need both Sonic Adventure DX and Sonic Adventure 2 : Battle, a link cable and a gameboy advance.
Take a chao from either sonic game and put it in the chao transporter WITHOUT a gamepak in your gameboy. When your chao is transported it will be a copy and the real one will remain in the garden you got him from. Now load up the other sonic game with your gameboy still hooked up and go to its chao garden. Go to the transporter and you will be able to get the same chao you put in the gameboy. now you have 2 of the same chao. This trick is great if you want multiple copies of the gold and silver chao from Sonic DX.
NOTE: Any animal parts of your chao will return to normal in the other garden but hero and dark chao stay hero or dark.

Double Running Speed
In a 2 player action race Sonic and Shadow can activate a glitch that will increase your running speed. To activate the glitch get between 80-89 rings, and make sure you have a speedup. when you are ready stand in front of a point marker and then press B button to activate your speedup, directly afterwards run through the gate. your character will now run at 2x speed. to deactivate the glitch exit the level or select "No" after the race is over. NOTE:this glitch will also cause a decrease in grinding and boarding speed.
Double Grinding and Boarding speed
In a 2 player action race Sonic and Shadow can activate a glitch that will increase your grinding and boarding speed. To activate the glitch get between 80-89 rings, and make sure you have a speedup. when you are ready stand in front of a point marker walk through and then press B button to activate your speedup as soon as the lightspeed shoes appear. your character will now run at half speed,but will board and grind faster to deactivate the glitch exit the level or select "No" after the race is over.

Supplies: Knuckles, Pumpkin Hill, ghost dogs. First of all, go to Pumpkin Hill with Knuckles. Ride the rocket up to Church Mountain and get the ghost dog. Then, get the Chao Key and finish the level. When you're in Chao Garden, crack open an egg and give the chao inside the ghost dog. When the ghost dog and chao touch, the chao's legs should dissapear. If not, keep trying. Then, keep petting it with any good guy(Sonic, Knuckles, Tails). When it evolves, it will look just like a ghost!

Play as a dark character in a chao garden and evolve your chao twice. If you treated him good, he will go back to his egg stage. Re-hatch him and evolve him twice. If he goes back to his egg, hatch him and feed him ALL 21 types of different animals.Once he evolves, feed him a Dark Fruit. He'll instantly evolve into an Ultimate Devil chao. This is the best chao because he will never die and he is super strong and super fast.

Big the Cat

In Knuckles' Pumpkin Hill stage, go to the one of the train gates. You can see Big The Cat hiding behind the gate, waving to you. In the City Escape stage, Big The Cat appears after the last corner in the G.U.N. truck vs. Sonic scene. Look for him at the right of the screen, running downhill on the sidewalk away from the truck. In the Tails stage where you are running from the police and you first get your hover ability, Big The Cat can be seen again. There is a part in the level where you need to knock a column over in order to use it as a step to reach a higher level, from which you hover over to a platform with a police barricade and two robots. If you miss the platform and fall in the hole, you will see Big the Cat sitting on the girders underneath the platform. You can also see him in the battle against Sonic while playing as Shadow.
