You will get the following lightsabers as a reward only if Bao-Dur has first made your own lightsaber. Otherwise, you will get random lightsaber parts.
If you assist the refugees by getting the Exchange to ease up, Hussef will give you a lightsaber. Also, Master Vrook on Dantooine will give you his lightsaber for saving Khoonda.
You can get a short lightsaber from Lootra when you free his wife in the Refugee sector by clearing a path through the exchange guards and killing all the Serecco thugs.
Mandalore will give you a lightsaber if you have completed every task in the Mandalorian Ruins to gain respect.
The light saber you choose when you have your discussion is the opposite that you get from Ghent after freeing him. You will get a double-bladed after defeating the Sith Masters on Duxn and a orange short lightsaber from Freedon Nadd's tomb in the back of the ritual room.

Bao-Dur Becomes a Jedi
Added on
2006-10-30 at 11:41:11
You cannot really get into conversations with Bao-Dur, so there is no influence: failure or influence: sucess in talking with him. He must be in your party to gain influence. When you talk to him, you may be able to get shields from him (if you do not have too many of the kind he makes already), or you can construct your lightsaber if you have not already done so. After this, the only option will be "Never mind". Occasionally he may say "You know, I'm really glad I found you again , General". This conversation means nothing. You cannot get any influence gains from it, and all the choice options are not very good. Try to make it out without any influence losses or Dark side points. You will have to ask him why he is still here, and he will ask you if you are tired of him already. Then something about wires in the universe will turn up. Just reply with "If you see any, let me know". This conversation occurs more than once. If you have enough influence with him, when you talk to him, you should automatically get into a new conversation. It will mention something about Malachor V. Try to convince him that he was not just fighting for revenge, and that he was fighting to protect others, even if he disagrees with you. Eventually you should reach some random option saying that you can teach him to use the Force. He will say something else. Tell him there is no time to waste. You do not have to go through that series of one option conversation. It just simply states he is now a Jedi Guardian. Bao-Dur cannot equip any robes or Jal Shey Armor. If you want him to use powers that are restricted by armor, you must equip him with regular clothing or nothing at all. As mentioned earlier, in order for Bao-Dur to gain influence he needs to be in your party for practically the entire time. Also, a lot of the times for Bao-Dur to gain influence, only you and him must be in your party. For Bao-Dur and all the others you can train to be Jedi, taking the Light side is recommended. The following are some possible influence gains with Bao-Dur.
On Dxun, take only Bao-dur with you when you search for the dead Mandalorian's body. The Mandalorian is actually alive. He tells you that he is trapped on a ridge because he was ambushed by Bomas. Agree to help him by killing the Bomas. Once done, talk to him and agree to keep his secret. You will then get into a conversation with Bao-Dur. Tell him something along the lines of if you can help, you will, then end with saying that perhaps one day he will return the favor. Bao-Dur will say you never know, and you should get an influence gain with him.
On Telos, after you talk with Atris, go back to pick up your allies. However, before you do so, talk with one of the Handmaiden sisters, (not Handmaiden herself). Talk to her about Atton for a future influence gain with him. When you talk to Bao-Dur, be nice and tell him the crash and his collapse was not his fault, and perhaps you should let him stay in your party instead of waiting at the ship. You should get an influence gain with him.
On Nar Shadaa, take only Bao-Dur with you to the refugee sector. Have a minimum Treat Injury of 5. Talk to Geriel, be nice, and heal him. He will thank you, and say that he feels better. The conversation will end. Almost immediately after you start walking, Bao-Dur will stop you and say that was nice. Select the Light side options and you should get an influence gain with him.
At the Nar Shadaa Docks, explore the flop house to find a man name Lootra. Hear him out and agree to help him find his wife, Aaida. There are two guards that stop you in the refugee sector. Talk to the Gamorean, then tell him that if you are trying to threaten you, draw your weapons. If your intimidation works, you can only fight them earning Dark side points. Instead of talking to him with your main character, talk to him with someone else in your party. Even though it returns to your main character talking, the intimidation will fail and you can fight them without earning any Dark side points. Kill both of them, then go back and talk to Aaida. Tell her that Lootra is here looking for her. Then, say that you have taken out the guards and that she has a clear path out of the sector. This is when you need Bao-Dur in your party, and Kreia as well. Go back to flophouse and talk to the reunited couple. Kreia will get in an argument with you. Choose the answers that are correct and have to do with the Light side. She will get upset with you. Tell her that if it meant any of your allies' lives, you would do anything for them. This not the choice where you say that about Kreia, but the one after that. Bao-Dur will make a comment saying you remind him that back in the Mandalorian Wars, there was only one Jedi he saw valor in, which was you. End the conversation and you should get an influence gain with Bao-Dur without losing influence with Kreia.
On Nar Shadaa there is an airspeeder at the Serreco territory in the refugee sector. You may need to take the Serreco out before using it though. The airspeeder is missing parts and you do not have access to its systems. First, to gain access to its systems, use your Security skill after examining it. If you have Atton in your party, he will ask you to let him take care of it. You may both need a high Security skill for this to occur. Accept his help bvy saying "All right, I'll let the expert handle this". Afterwards, thank him for his help and you should get an influence gain with Atton. Next, go to the refugee landing pad and search all the metal boxes and containers. The Navigation system may be in the Plasteel cylinder where you get your ID changed to have Vogga's transponder codes. Next, go to Nar Shadaa docks and go to Pylon 3 (the one at the very end). To the left, there is a Plasteel cylinder that has the maneuvering flaps. Now, go to the flophouse and you will find an Ithorian in one of the places. Hear him out and agree to help him. He tells you that he sells power cells. There is no harm in asking him for one. He says that he will give you one after you help him. Talk to Fassa at the pylons and ask him about the Ithorian. Pay his debt and go back to the Ithorian. Tell him he can go as long as he gives Fassa some of the power cells. He will say that it is no problem and thank you. After the conversation ends, you will receive the power cell. Go back to the airspeeder and install the three parts. After you are finished, you can ask either T3-M4 or Bao-Dur to examine it. Let Bao-Dur examine it first. He will notice some things are wrong and offers his help. Accept it, then afterwards, thank him. The conversation will end and you should get an influence gain with Bao-Dur. If you can, now ask T3-M4 to examine it and say the same things. You should get an influence gain with T3-M4.

When you level up, it is always a good idea to increase your character's Wisdom. This helps your Force attacks and Force bar. When you have a high Wisdom, your enemy will have a tough time resisting your Force attacks, and it makes the damage of your Force attacks higher and more effective. Attacks such as Stasis, or Stasis Field will be useful in a lot of areas in the game, especially towards the end and in in the very last battle. Normally if your enemy has a good resistance to the Force, some attacks like Choke, Crush, or Stasis will not do anything. However, with a high Wisdom you can do a lot of damage to them.

Easy Way to Beat Vrook
Added on

For Dark Siders: the easiest (warning: not much of a challenge) way to beat Master Vrook in Dantooine, is smply lay a whole bunch of mines (15) right in front of him. When the Merc Azkul talks to you, be rude to him causing him to fight you. Save here, so that you can try and try again if you fail. Once they start attacking, run to the lobby temporarily ignoring the fight. Vrook is just standing in the Lobby of Kuunda doing nothing. Just plant some mines right in front of him, and when you are ready to fight just keep shooting lightning at him. It took me about 20 seconds to kill him!

When you reach the planet core of Malacore V, you will have to cross a bridge to get to Lord Traya. As you cross that bridge begin deploying your best landmines (strong frag landmine, average landmine, ect). You will be limited to 15 landmines, and must have some demolitions skill to accomplish this. Next, you will speak to Lord Traya (Kreia). No matter the conversation choices you choose, you will have to battle with her. Run from her in the direction you came from through the minefields. She will chase you, and this will weaken her enough to trade blows till she speaks to you a second time. Use this time to heal, use a stimulant, or activate your shield. Again you will have to defend yourself, only this time against her force sabers. Use force shock, of force crush if you have it until your force powers are depleated. That should eliminate two of the three sabers. You will have to destroy the last one with your own physical ability. May the force be with you...

The corpse is located in the Sith Temple at the end of the Shryak Caves. After the second "Vision" involving the mined bridge, head east to a path split, then head south until you reach a small room. In the center of the room is the jedi corpse, and each time you examine it 2 Hssiss spawn in the room. If you have a high enough Force Storm and Death Feild, you should be able to harvest 40 Hssiss at a time with no risk to your health (Death Feild x Lots of enemies = Full Health). And since each Hssiss is worth 400xp thats like 16,000xp every 45 seconds.

Make a Super Saber

2006-10-30 at 11:27:23
Requirements: -Multiple of a type of focusing crystal (10+) -A party member (including yourself) equipped with a lightsaber
1. SAVE. This will DELETE your crystals. 2. Click on the workbench and go into the lightsaber you want to power up. 3. Put the crystal you want to use in the bottom slot (it matters) and nothing in the top one. 4. Leave workbench and click on it and get back into the lightsaber you are using. 5. Go into the top focusing crystal slot and put in the same crystal as the one you put in the bottom slot (yes, it will let you). 6. Assemble the lightsaber, then re-enter it. 7. You will notice that ther is only one crystal in it, but it has the effects of both crystals. Remove the top crystal and put it in the bottom slot. Assemble the lightsaber and leave the workbench. 8. Repeat steps 5-7 as many times as you have spare crystals. Each time it you do it, it destroyes the bottom crystal, but the bonuses from that crystal are still given to the lightsaber. The bonueses stack with each time you do it.
Note: -You can do this with the "Your Name" Crystal, but the attribute bonuses will not stack, but the damage ant attack bonueses will -Do the "Duplicate Lightsaber" Glitch to get ininfite crystals -Some crystals work better for this glitch than other. Some, like Opila, sometimes won't always have their effects stack when there are no crystals on the lightsaber. Others, like Barab Ore Ingot or Phond, will stack correctly, making a lightsaber that does 200 damage very possible. -Changing the color crystal will "reset" your lightsaber, meaning that all of the glitched effects will be lost. This also means that you can't duplicate a glitched lightsaber.

Go start the battle with Handmaiden ("Can you teach me some fighting moves...") 6. Right after you are put at the end of the cargo hold and the screen gis going form gray to normal, press Start and equip a piece of armor. Timing on this is very important. More on that later. 7. She will still fight you, even though you broke her rules. Defeat and kill her. Yes, she dies (25XP). 8. Take the equipment from her remains. The weapons she was holding were unequipped and are also in your inventory. 9. Leave the Ebon Hawk. Notice you will not be able to select Handmaiden. 10. After leaving the Ebon Hawk, go to the party selection screen and select Handmaiden to be in your party. Yes, she is back. 11. Note: -If you equip the armor too late Handmaiden will end the fight. Talk to her about putting on some clothing to get an handmaiden's Robe (which will stack with the other armor when you kill her). Instantly Win Any Swoop Bike Race
Added on
2006-10-30 at 11:26:10
**This glitch can be used in any Swoop race in the game.
To ensure a win on any swoop track in the game, you must start the race normally, but when you approach any one of your first obstacles (whether it be a mine or a wall), make sure that you are right on track for crashing into whatever lies ahead. Now just before you hit whatever it is you're aiming at, quickly press the White button to forefit the race. However, after doing so, the game will briefly unpause, and your bike will crash. This tricks the game into thinking that you have properly ended the race at the finish line, and you will be awarded whatever time you had when you hit the obstacle.
This is very useful for gaining some quick credits and avoiding the massive loss of credits that you would encounter if you played a track over and over until you beat a record.

Important Note: Some skill checks for Repair, Persuade, and Computer Use are made so having at least a small amount of skill in these may be required. If this is your first time talking to this droid and T3 is with you, he will point out it is broken giving, you some influence gaining/losing dialog options that will take you directly to step 5. If it is your first time speaking to it but T3 is not in the party, you can choose an Awareness dialog option which will allow you to skip to step 5 as well. While these shortcuts are convienent they are not neccessary and become unavailable after the first time.
2.) Speak with him and choose "What can you tell me about Dantoonine?" 3.) Choose "What do you know of the ruins?" 4.) Choose "Tell me about how the Enclave came to be ruined." 5.) Choose "Sith invasion?" 6.) Choose "[Computer] Droid, run a self diagnostic and report." 7.) Choose "[Repair] Fix the droid's memory unit." 8.) Tarn will walk over and ask if the droid just called you a jedi. Choose "No, you must be mistaken." 9.) Choose "[Persuade]The droid is obviously malfunctioning. Do I look like a Jedi?" 10.) 1. Head to Nar Shadaa's refugee sector and look for the Serroco gang and defeat them. 2. Talk to Hussef (in the center of the refugee camp) and get a quest from him to convince the Exchange to lessen their pressure on the refugees. 3. Find Geriel, he's the sick refugee. Talk to him to get a journal entry ("Plague Carrier"). You can attempt to cure him but you must be unsuccessful or the whole method for the glitch would end here, hence the low treat injury skill requirement. 4. Talk to Saquesh, the squid-guy boss of the Exchange for that sector. You can talk to him about several things but the following topic is essential for the glitch. (conversation paraphrase) a-> "There is a diseased refugee..." b-> "[Persuade] If you don't lessen your hold the disease..." c-> "I do not have the means to cure him." d-> 4th/bottommost option (closes out the conversation) 5. You'll get a journal entry saying you've defeated the Serroco gang and persuaded the Exchange... as well as 1000exp. 6. Repeat the conversation flow in step 4 (you can leave out "c" from the flow this time) as many times as you want to keep getting a journal entry (unimportant), and 1000 exp.
NOTE: As long as Geriel (sick refugee) isn't cured or killed, and you didn't kill Saquesh (Exchange sector boss), you can keep repeating the trick for infinite EXP. No battle, no need to recharge FPs, and its good for both LS and DS characters.
