Pacific Fighters is a flight combat title that takes place in the pacific theatre during World War II. Re-create some of the most decisive air battles of WW II and experience famous locations like Midway, Guadalcanal and Iwo Jima, where the courage of a single pilot could turn the tide of war. The game is backed by the Oleg Maddox team, the makers of the popular IL2 series. For the first time in the IL-2 series, players can engage aircraft carriers in combat and utilize them to take off and land. Players take control of more than 40 different aircraft on both sides of the battle lines. The 16 maps in the game include Guadalcanal, Pearl Harbor and Singapore. Online multiplayer allow for dog fighting and cooperative missions.
